I'm a college student in Flagstaff, Arizona. One day I opened my desk and came across my year-old camera. I was absolutely not getting my money's worth out of it, so I decided to do this: My "365 Project." One picture a day for a whole year, but since 2012 is a leap year, I had to make it 366. If you're here you probably know me. If you don't I'm glad you came across my project. Either way I hope you enjoy it.

Stars
Now that sunset is at a time when I can attempt it, I have been experimenting with pictures of the stars. I actually think that these are planets (Jupiter and Venus?) but I didn't bother to check when I got back to the dorm. What I've been having a hard time with here is deciding where to focus, the low f-stop needed to get star pictures won't allow you to focus on the stars and the foreground at the same time needless to say.

Tripod, f5.6 or smaller stop? This one came out nicely. And yes I think you're right about the planets.
