Converging lines was the idea here, I think it would have worked better with a wider angle lens. I always found this hallway interesting though; long practically dead end hallway with double doors and the imposing but simple sign, indicating "Office of the Dean." I guess they want you to know you're seeing someone powerful.
Nice perspective - looks something like a scene from "The Shining". If you haven't watched it you should - Stanley Kubrick was the greatest at framing a shot.
